I cloned https://github.com/rkchrome/kernel

Since the https://github.com/rkchrome/kernel/b...kchip/Makefile has obj-y += rk3288.o, changed it to obj-y += rk3188.o

On Ubuntu 14.04

Why do you want to use the rkchrome source?
It has also been mentioned that rkchrome source hasn't been updated and shouldn't be used.
Don't know where the latest source is 
It's mostly for RK3288 and not tested for rk3188.
You would also need a patched bootloader from Rockchip to boot that 3.10 kernel on RK3188 devices.
Other developers haven't even figured out how those bootloaders and kernel patches work that I found.

On Radxa Rock wiki pages they have instructions for 3.10 kernels on rk3188, but don't think it can boot properly.
